During the third week of January this year we were hit with a series of three storms. The first 2, on Monday and Tuesday nights, gave us about a foot of snow each. The third one, which started Wednesday evening, was the biggest. These pictures were taken Friday morning. It was still snowing, and wasn't predicted to stop until Saturday morning.
We'd be more likely to shovel for the birds if there wasn't 3 1/2 feet of snow around the feeders. Oh, and the birdseed storage bin is buried.
It usually only takes one windshield wiper motor burnout before you learn to put the wipers up in the air.
